Step-1: Unpack the Printer

- Toss the feeder guard forward and pull up the paper support and the extension.
- Draw the paper output tray outwards and unfold the paper stopper.
- Move the edge guide to the left end and arrange the paper with the print side facing outwards.
- See that the short edge of the paper goes into the feeder first.
- Shift the edge guide to the paper edge, but make sure you do not make it tight.
- Replace the feeder guard and then proceed to set the paper settings.
Step-5: Software installation
- Once the Epson XP-430 setup is complete, install the printer software on your computer.
- The printer software enables you to manage and control the printer from the computer.
