Fix: Epson Printer Error Code 000041

It is normal to experience some issues with your Epson printer. The Epson Error Code 000041 is one such error that Epson users may face with their printers. This error will probably occur due to various reasons, such as faulty cartridge installation, corrupted or outdated issues, connection errors, etc. By following the below instructions, you can fix this error code on your Epson printer.

UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THE PRINTER DRIVER:

  1. On your computer, select the Start menu.
  2. In the search box, type Control Panel at the bottom of the window.
  3. Now, select the Control Panel option from the search result.
  4. Click on the Programs option from the list.
  5. Next, choose the Programs and Features option.

  1. Now, right-click on your Epson printer name and select the Uninstall option from the drop-down list.
  2. Click Yes in the confirmation window to uninstall the Epson printer from your computer.
  3. After uninstalling the driver, reinstall the latest printer driver on your computer.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete Epson’s driver installation process.

CHECK THE INK CARTRIDGE:

  1. Make sure to turn on your printer.
  2. Now, open the cartridge access door and check whether the cartridge is installed correctly in its place.
  3. If it is not inserted correctly, gently remove it from the respective slot.
  4. Check the metal chip on the cartridge and gently wipe it using a clean cloth.
  5. Next, reinstall the ink cartridge into the respective slot.
  6. Check whether the cartridge is inserted correctly in its slot.
  7. Close the cartridge access door and check whether the error 000041 is solved.
  1. If it does not work, then replace the ink cartridge.
  2. Open the cartridge access door.
  3. Now, remove the problematic ink cartridge from the respective slot.
  4. Next, unpack the new ink cartridge from the package and discard the protective tapes from the cartridge.
  5. Now, insert the new ink cartridge into the respective slot and make sure that the cartridge is correctly fixed in its place.
  6. Close the cartridge access door and ensure that the error is solved on your Epson printer.
