Solutions to fix frequent issues after upgrading to Mac Big Sur

  1. When your Mac Big Sur detects that Epson drivers are used for printing the documents, it will show you the message Upgrade to AirPrint. Click on the Never Upgrade option. If you choose the Upgrade option, your Mac will start to use the Apple AirPrint drivers instead of Epson drivers.
  2. Epson Scan is not compatible with Mac Big Sur. So, you can use Apple’s Image Capture or Epson’s ICA Scanner Driver for Image Capture utility. You can get this utility from Epson’s official website.
  3. If you see the Missing USB class driver message when trying to print the documents using the USB connection, update or reinstall the printer driver.
