Epson WF-6530 Setup
Step 1: Unpacking the Epson printer
- The following Epson printer components are included in the printer package.
- Ink cartridges
- French control panel stickers
- Manuals and Guides
- Installation disc
- Power cord
- First, take out the Epson printer from the carton.
- Place the Epson printer on a flat surface, then remove the tapes, plastic films, and all packing materials from the printer.
Step 2: Configuring the Epson printer
- Connect the power cord to the rear side of the printer.
- Plug in another end of the power cord to an AC outlet.
- Tap the printer’s Power button on the control panel.
- Select your language, date, time, and other required settings on the printer display.
Step 3: Installing the ink cartridges
- Open the cartridge access door and dispose of any packing materials inside the printer.
- Remove each cartridge from its package.
- Gently shake the ink cartridges one by one and insert them by following the color codes on the slots.
- Close the ink cartridge access door.
- The printer starts the priming process to charge the ink.
- Wait until the priming process is complete.
- Make sure not to turn off the printer while the priming process takes place.
Step 4: Loading paper
- Pull out the paper input paper tray and slide the paper guides to the corners of the tray.
- Fan a stack of paper and tap them on a flat surface.
- Insert the paper stack into the tray and slide the guides to the edges of the paper.
- Make sure to load paper only below the maximum paper mark.
- Fix the input paper tray back to the Epson WF-6530 setup.
- Raise the flap to avoid falling of paper.
- You can now set the correct paper settings on the printer’s control panel.
Step 5: Setting up fax
- If you want to set up the printer for fax, plug in a telephone line cord to the wall jack.
- Attach the other end of the telephone cord to the Line port on the rear side of the printer.
- Press the Start button to set up fax.
- Complete the rest of the instructions on the screen.
- To set up fax later, tap the Close button.
Step 6: Connecting the printer to your device
- Insert the installation disc into the CD drive of your computer or download the printer software from the official Epson website.
- Run the installer file and choose a connection method when prompted.
- The printer supports Wireless connection, Direct USB connection, and Wired Network connection.
- For a Wireless connection, connect the printer and device to your wireless network.
- Connect the Epson printer and computer using a USB cable for the Direct USB connection.
- For a Wired network connection, use network cables to connect the printer, router, and computer.
- To print from a mobile device, download the Epson Connect application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

- Go to the official Epson website to download the manual.
- Navigate to the Support tab after choosing your region.
- Select the Printers icon and select All-in-Ones. Then, select the WorkForce Series and choose your printer model number.

Fix: Epson WF-6530 not Printing Issue

- Print the network sheet and check whether the settings are correct.
- Confirm that your Epson WF-6530 setup is not offline.
